CONSTITUTIONAL COMMITTEE AND THE HISTORY OF THE STATE AND LAW EMERGE IN RUSSIA IN XXI CENTURY

The article analyses the activities of the Constitutional Committee of the Congress of People’s Deputies of the RSFSR on creating the draft text of the RF Constitution. The evaluation is given of the contribution of this body to establishing of the post-soviet Russian law system. The confrontation of the Constitutional Committee and the Constitutional Meeting during the development of the RF draft Constitution. The evidences are given proving the fact that the materials collected by the Constitutional Committee are of great practical value for the Russian state and law.
